The Work
This page explains the kind of work I offer, how it’s approached, and who it’s intended for.
It isn’t a sales page, and it isn’t a personal story. It’s here to help you understand whether this way of working feels like a fit before you decide to book anything.
What this work is
This work is about making sense of a relationship that left you destabilised, confused, or unsure of your own judgement.
Often, what lingers after these relationships isn’t just grief, but unanswered questions — moments that didn’t add up, shifts you couldn’t explain, or a growing sense that you lost your footing while trying to keep the connection intact.
The focus here isn’t on blame or diagnosis. It’s on understanding what happened, why it affected you in the way it did, and how to restore clarity without rewriting yourself or your values in the process.
Who this work is for
This work is for people who feel clear that something about a past relationship still isn’t resolved, even if they can’t yet articulate what that is.
You might find yourself replaying conversations, questioning your reactions, or struggling to explain to others why the relationship affected you so deeply. You may have been told to “move on” or “let it go,” while feeling that doing so without understanding would mean abandoning something important.
This work is particularly suited to people who don’t want platitudes, pressure, or forced optimism — but who do want a steady, thoughtful way to regain clarity and self-trust.
How the work unfolds
The work is structured, contained, and paced carefully.
There is no pressure to disclose more than you want to, no expectation that you arrive with everything figured out, and no requirement to adopt a particular framework or language. We work with what’s present, at a pace that allows understanding to emerge rather than being pushed.
Some people come for a single session and leave with enough clarity to move on. Others choose to continue once they understand what they’re dealing with. Both are equally valid outcomes.
Why clarity matters
When a relationship ends cleanly, clarity often arrives naturally. When it ends through confusion, inconsistency, or emotional instability, clarity is often what’s missing.
Without clarity, the mind keeps returning — not out of attachment, but out of an unresolved need to make sense of what happened. This can look like rumination, self-doubt, or a persistent feeling that something important was never properly understood.
Clarity doesn’t mean minimising what you felt or rewriting the past. It means understanding the dynamics well enough that your experience makes sense again — and your self-trust can settle back into place.
What this work is not
This work is not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment.
It doesn’t involve diagnosis, labels, or pathologising you or anyone else. It isn’t about fixing you, reframing everything positively, or pushing you toward forgiveness or closure before you’re ready.
The aim is understanding — not compliance, catharsis, or emotional performance.
Working together
There are a few different ways to work together, depending on what would feel most supportive right now.
Some people begin with a single clarity session to stabilise their thinking. Others move into more structured work once patterns start to become visible. You’re free to choose what feels appropriate, and there’s no assumption that ongoing support is required.
If you’d like to understand the different options, you can explore the sessions listed on the main page and decide from there.
